Build a ‘Reading Fort’ and read for 20 minutes each day! Read to your pets and stuffed animals! If possible… FaceTime someone and read a book! It will make their day! Don’t forget to read with expression! (NOT LIKE A ROBOT 🤖)

 Real World a Activity-

Snap 10 is a game some classes may have learned already. All you need is a deck of cards! If your child isn’t sure how to play, that’s ok! Try… rolling two dice make the biggest number and talk about ten more ten less! Then change it to do the smallest number.


Scholastic Story Starters

Real World Activity-

Bake something with your family and have your child write a ‘How To’ explaining the steps. Write your information like your audience as never cooked/baked the item!!  Make sure to use words like First, Next, Then and Last! Add details in your pictures and words!
