PARENT-TEACHER COMMITTEE INFORMATION

The MCC Elementary Parent Teacher Committee (PTC) serves staff and students in both MCC’s Scottville Elementary and MCC’s Upper Elementary buildings. The PTC is composed of parents, teachers, and community members who volunteer their time to augment our students’ educational experience. The PTC facilitates two main fundraisers each year; the fall Fun Color Run and also a Spartan apparel sale and/or a Holiday Shoppe. Monies raised from these events goes toward funding field trips for each grade level, assisting with playground upgrades, supporting March is Reading Month, partnering in the positive behavior support programs in each building, and aiding with other teacher requests. 

PTC meetings are generally held the third Thursday of each month September-May at 6:00PM at the Upper Elementary library. Anyone is welcome to attend. If you have an interest in further supporting our MCC elementary students please reach out with a message, an email (scottvilleptc@gmail.com), or simply join us at our next meeting.
