MCC Family,
We are moving on to the final week of the 1st trimester. This edition of the MCC High School Newsletter will have updates on exam week and also celebrations of our students and staff.
With next week being the last week of the trimester, please remember that we focus on the Spartan Way 3A’s here at our high school. The 3A’s are: Attitude, Academics, and Attendance. Students should be handing in final assignments and preparing for exams. Good behavior is a must and is celebrated. Also, attending school at all times unless too sick to do so is immensely important for student learning. Remember that Showing Up is Job #1 in school, work, and life.

Did you know?
Common PD Day with WSESD was held on Friday, Nov. 7th. We spent the morning with Christy Forrester of the WSESD. She facilitated our second session of “Whole Child” and trauma-informed teaching. The afternoon consisted of watching “Counted Out,” which is a math movie with a facilitator's guide to supplement the learning.
Fall sports have concluded, and winter sports practices have begun
Come see the fall drama production of “High School Non-Musical” at the A.O.Carlson Stage, Friday at 7 pm or Saturday at 2 pm.

On Monday, Nov. 17th, we will be having our second Showing Up is Job #1 attendance reward of the school year. Students who qualify will receive hot cocoa!
The high school/middle school band and Christmas concert will be taking place on Dec. 11th at 7:00 pm in the A.O. Carlson.
MCC E-sports has qualified for the state playoffs! Congratulations to participants and coaches.
Good luck to all firearm deer hunters out there on opening day. Please stay safe out there!
