Our Title I Annual Back to School Kickoff Meeting will be held on August 28th from 4:00-7:00pm. Come check out all of the resources available to our families from school supplies, clothes, hygiene products and food. These items are offered for FREE as a way to help families offset the cost of back to school spending. Come talk with representatives from a number of organizations in our school family and community who will be there to help answer questions and are eager to help our families. Reminder that we start our exam preparation and scheudle today. Next week Monday and Tuesday are exams. Tuesday is our final day of school with a 1/2 day exam schedule. Dismissal is at 11:30am on that day.
It's our final "Showing Up is Job #1" positive attendance reward of the year. 225 highschoolers over three grade levels got today's reward of a long lunch and yard games in our courtyard. Way to show up to school, Spartans!

Look at what the English 9 kids did! Between their first trimester of SSR and their second, they read 55 MORE books and 26,549 MORE pages. Look at what building a love of literacy can do— dedicated reading time builds stamina, improves vocabulary, and can give students a moment to slow down in this fast-paced world!
