Mason County Central Schools District just got a $1,738.99 boost thanks to a grant from Great Lakes Energy.
Mason County Central Schools District was one of 18 grant recipients chosen from 63 applicants. Wow! The grant will fund the purchase of a Drone and 360 camera that will be used to take 360 photos and videos to create immersive experiences for our K-12 students. . Thanks, GLE, for giving back to the community!

The 31st Annual Family AfFair will be held Saturday, March 18 at MCC High School from 10am until 2pm. This year's theme is "Under Construction: Building Strong Families". There will be many interactive booths, classrooms full of great games and activities, and many community agencies giving demonstrations. Food will also be available at family affordable prices! We hope to see you there!

A dual enrollment meeting is scheduled for February 6th at 6:30 in the high school library. This will be a meeting for 10th & 11th grade students, and their parents, who are planning to Dual Enroll this upcoming fall, and are new to the process. This meeting will be for students planning to take college classes. This is NOT for current dual enrollment students or those planning to take CTE classes next year. It will be helpful in understanding what is involved in the Dual Enrollment process including dates and times for registration. Anyone with questions can contact the high school office.

Central Wrestlers finish 3rd in the Rivers division of the WMC at the conference meet on Saturday. Congratulations to Hunter Sanford and Zane McCabe on being overall conference champions!

Dear MCC School Family,
The National Weather Service is expecting extremely cold morning windchill and lake effect snow bands causing white-out conditions for some areas during Friday morning's commute. In addition, MCC schools are experiencing a large amount of illness causing staff shortages and poor student attendance. With all of these circumstances and wanting to give our parents enough time to make alternative arrangements for child care, the Mason County Central School District is announcing that we will be closed for Friday, February 3rd.
