Thank you to all of our dedicated, Professional School Bus Drivers. This team is up before the sun and often out way past sunset. Without our Bus Drivers we wouldn't have a vital service that much of our community depends on.

Today, in Mr. Weinert’s Anatomy and Botany Classes, Class of 1996 alumnus, April Hackert came in to talk about nutrition. Ms. Hackert focused on how nutrition relates to gut health and its effects on neurology or brain health.



Ms. Wise's Space and Environment classes were treated to a constellation and Greek Mythology experience this morning. Brian Dotson, Region 9 MISTEM director joined us with the StarLab dome. Thank you to Mr. Dotson and Ms. Wise! Students enjoyed it!




Ryan Walker was named an All-State Mario Kart player is past weekend! Ryan was recognized as one of the top eight overall Mario Kart players in all of MI! The award looks at grades, leadership, attitude and game skill. Congrats Ryan!

Students in Mr. Riggs' computer science course are working with the Python programming language this morning.

Today, in Mr Weinert’s Anatomy, students dissected pig hearts and lungs. Students had to identify structures from the Cardiovascular and Respiratory Systems which they have been studying in class. In the pictures below you can see the trachea, ventricles, the aorta, coronary arteries and ventricles of the heart. Can you find each structure?





MCC Summit Tech Career Tech student and program showcase today at WSCC. Great event by the students and staff at Summit Tech!



Mrs. Rodriguez’s Literature of WWII classes got to travel to Farmington Hills to visit the Zekelman Holocaust Center. Students got to tour the museum as well as listen to. Next Generation* speaker.

MCC Mario Kart defeats Northview 2-1 to make it to the final four for the second year in a row! Next stop...Oakland University! Congratulations to the coaches and team.

Reminder: Students attending the field trip to the Zekelman Holocaust Center, please arrive at the HIGH SCHOOL no later than 5:50 am on Wednesday, April 22nd. The bus WILL depart the high school at 6:00 am.

The District Health Department #10 helped out with the Lunch & Learn at the high school today. Students answered questions about the myths of gambling and gambling addiction and learned how common it is and how often youth are exposed to gambling!
