Dear MCC School Family, We are currently experiencing some power outage issues on our Scottville Campus. The Upper Elementary, Middle School and High School have partial power while Scottville Elementary is currently without power. Plumbing is fully functional at all of the buildings. We will be finishing the school day at our normal departure times and will NOT be sending students home early. We have natural light or partial lighting to get through the rest of today and an excellent staff that will continue to take care of our students, your children. Stay Safe and Strong Spartans!!

Wow, what an AMAZING experience we had watching the eclipse yesterday! 🌞🌑It was so awesome to see our school community come together to witness something truly out of this world. Our eclipse glasses were out in full force, ensuring everyone had a safe and clear view of the eclipse. 🔭👓Let's keep exploring, learning, and marveling at the wonders of the universe together. 🌎🚀

Dear MCC Middle School Parents- On April 8, portions of Eastern US and possible other areas will be along the path of a solar eclipse or have other solar eclipse experiences. This will be an experience that is supposed to occur during our regular school day afternoon and possible dismissal times. There will be some changes to the regularly scheduled instructional day and recesses. Our Middle School Students will not go outside for lunchtime and will board the bus with their glasses on. While this is a rare and exciting phenomenon, it presents a risk of eye injury to everyone, especially children who may not understand the dangers of looking directly in the direction of the sun. Eclipse viewing glasses will be provided to students in Prek-8th grades at Mason County Central Schools. With the proper precautions, we know that the wonder of an eclipse will be a source of great inspiration and knowledge for our students for years to come.
