
As we get closer to summer we know parents are looking for activities for their kids. All events below are free!
AFFEW (A Few Friends for the Environment of the World) has 2 kids' events coming up. The bird hike is co-sponsored with the Sable Dunes Audubon Club. Another partner is MSU and Kendra Gibson, community nutrition instructor, is holding a program for kids ages 7-8 yrs of age. Each event is limited and requires advance registration. Today Ms. Stibitz and her 3rd grade class went to the PM river. The whole class got to release the salmon that they have been watching and raising since they arrived as eggs in November! Here are some pictures of the awesome experience!!!




Our 4th and 5th graders had the opportunity to attend a symphony performance yesterday at the Frauenthal Theater in Muskegon. MCC SCHOOL ELECTION POLLING PLACES:
Mason County Central’s bond election is Tuesday, May 2. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters are being asked to approve a 1.6 mills bond increase that will generate $31.54 million for school safety and security, along with building and infrastructure upgrades. The following is the list of polling places. Voters must vote in the voting precinct where they are registered to vote.
