We are so excited to announce MCC Cheer Camp! 🎀📣 This fun and energetic experience is open to all elementary K–5 students who are interested in cheerleading!

Our campers will learn the fundamentals of cheer, including motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling, while building teamwork, confidence, friendships, and plenty of Spartan spirit! 💙💛

✨ CAMP DETAILS:
📅 Wednesday, September 30th | 3:30–5:00 PM
📅 Friday, October 2nd | 6:15 PM–Halftime (REMINDER THERE IS NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY OCT. 2)
📍 Spartan Field (Upper Elementary if raining)
💰 $40 per student

The $40 fee includes:
🎀 T-shirt
🎀 Cheer bow
🍎 After-school snacks & drinks
🏈 Game admission
📣 Time with our cheerleaders

👟 WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable athletic wear, tennis shoes, a water bottle, and a BIG smile! 😊 Extra snacks are welcome if needed.

📣 HOW TO REGISTER:
Complete the attached registration form and return it to school no later than Wednesday, September 16th. Please note that late registrations can not and will not be accepted.

On September 30th, cheerleaders and coaches will pick campers up from school and walk with them to Spartan Field. Parents/guardians will pick students up at 5:00 PM.

Then on October 2nd, campers will return to Spartan Field by 6:15 PM and get the chance to cheer with our team during the first half of the home football game! Parents/guardians will meet their child at the front gates at halftime for checkout. 💙💛🏈

✏️📚It's August and almost time to get back to school! If you’d like to help support our classrooms this year, the wish lists for our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade teachers are posted below. Every donation, big or small, is truly appreciated and helps our students get off to a great start. 📣 Attention Incoming Kindergarten Families! 🍎✏️ As you prepare for your child’s first year of kindergarten, don’t forget one important step! 👂 Michigan requires all children entering kindergarten to have hearing and vision screenings completed before the start of school. ✅ What you need to know: • FREE hearing and vision screenings are available through your local health department by appointment. • Hearing screening documentation may be provided by your local health department, primary care provider, or pediatrician. • Vision documentation may be provided by your local health department, an optometrist, ophthalmologist, or physician. • If possible, screenings should be completed within 6 months of your child’s kindergarten start date. 📌 Please note: If your child’s screenings are not completed before school, families are encouraged to complete them as soon as possible. Let’s work together to ensure every child starts kindergarten ready to learn and succeed! 💙📚 If you have questions about hearing and vision screenings, please contact your local health department.

🎒📚 The wait is over! 📚🎒 The Back-to-School Backpack Bonanza is happening on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 3:00–6:00 PM at Jaycees Minigolf. This FREE community event is open to all Mason County students in Pre-K through 12th grade and is designed to help families get ready for the new school year. Kids will receive: 🎒 Free backpacks ✏️ Free school supplies 🎨 Face painting 🎉 Games, activities, and so much more! Children must be present to receive a backpack and school supplies. A huge THANK YOU to the incredible local businesses, organizations, and community partners who make this event possible year after year. 🏈 Spartans Youth Football Camp is Back! 💙💛 Get ready for two evenings of football, fun, and skill development with the Mason County Central coaching staff! 📅 Wednesday, July 22 & Thursday, July 23 🕡 6:30–8:00 PM 📍 Spartan Community Field Open to all athletes entering 3rd–8th grade. The $30 camp fee includes a camp shirt and a popsicle! Bring a water bottle, shoes or cleats, and come ready to have fun! We can’t wait to see everyone on the field! 🏈💙💛
