Dear MCC School Family, The National Weather Service is expecting extremely cold morning windchill and lake effect snow bands causing white-out conditions for some areas during Friday morning's commute. In addition, MCC schools are experiencing a large amount of illness causing staff shortages and poor student attendance. With all of these circumstances and wanting to give our parents enough time to make alternative arrangements for child care, the Mason County Central School District is announcing that we will be closed for Friday, February 3rd. Enjoy the longer than expected weekend to get healthy!! Stay Safe and Strong Spartans!

Scottville Elementary would like to give a huge shout out and a heartfelt thank you to Mason County Reformed Church for their kind donation to our school. They generously donated snacks, office supplies, tissues, and disinfectant wipes amongst other things to Mason County Central Schools, Scottville Elementary and the Upper Elementary, using the proceeds from their Annual Christmas Shoppe held at the church this past November. These items are greatly needed and greatly appreciated. Our Staff and our students are very grateful that they chose to bless Mason County Central Schools with this donation. Thank you Mason County Reformed Church!
