We were so excited to celebrate 100 days of school today by dressing as 100 year old grandma's and grandpa's 👵🏻 👴🏻 the students all had such a great time with it. Just look at how great they all look!
Mason County Central Schools District just got a $1,738.99 boost thanks to a grant from Great Lakes Energy.
Mason County Central Schools District was one of 18 grant recipients chosen from 63 applicants. Wow! The grant will fund the purchase of a Drone and 360 camera that will be used to take 360 photos and videos to create immersive experiences for our K-12 students. . Thanks, GLE, for giving back to the community!

The 31st Annual Family AfFair will be held Saturday, March 18 at MCC High School from 10am until 2pm. This year's theme is "Under Construction: Building Strong Families". There will be many interactive booths, classrooms full of great games and activities, and many community agencies giving demonstrations. Food will also be available at family affordable prices! We hope to see you there!

The National Weather Service is expecting extremely cold morning windchill and lake effect snow bands causing white-out conditions for some areas during Friday morning's commute. In addition, MCC schools are experiencing a large amount of illness causing staff shortages and poor student attendance. With all of these circumstances and wanting to give our parents enough time to make alternative arrangements for child care, the Mason County Central School District is announcing that we will be closed for Friday, February 3rd. Time for the annual MCC Daddy-Daughter and Mommy-Son dance! The MCC Softball program is taking over the dance for the elementary this year and we are so excited to make this happen! Open to students and parents of students grades K-5th. The theme for this year is Frozen! TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED IN EITHER OF THE ELEMENTARY OFFICES OR AT THE DOOR THE NIGHT OF THE DANCE! Good Morning, just a quick update that the January PTC meeting will be held on Thursday January 26th due to a couple of scheduling conflicts next week. Same time and place - 6pm at the Upper Elementary Library. We hope to see you there!
Scottville Elementary would like to give a huge shout out and a heartfelt thank you to Mason County Reformed Church for their kind donation to our school. They generously donated snacks, office supplies, tissues, and disinfectant wipes amongst other things to Mason County Central Schools, Scottville Elementary and the Upper Elementary, using the proceeds from their Annual Christmas Shoppe held at the church this past November. These items are greatly needed and greatly appreciated. Our Staff and our students are very grateful that they chose to bless Mason County Central Schools with this donation. Thank you Mason County Reformed Church!

Scottville Elementary students and staff will be celebrating "Fun Friday" the next two Fridays leading up to Christmas break.
Here is our plan: Friday December 9th: Green and Red Day - Students and staff are encouraged to wear their red and green attire to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season.
Friday December 16th: Santa Hat Day - students and staff are encouraged to wear a Santa hat to school.
Scottville Elementary Parents: Just a reminder that tomorrow Thursday December 8th is our Christmas program at the AO Carlson Gym in the High School. Please have your students to the High School Caffeteria by 5:30 pm and the program will start at 6:00pm.

Just a reminder to Scottville Elementary and Upper Elementary that tomorrow, Friday December 2nd, is the deadline to turn in the PTC Shirt order forms if you wish to place an order. Please return completed order form and money to your buildings office by the end of the day. If you need a new form you may call or stop by the office and we would be happy to help.
Attention Spartan Families: Please be on the look out for the attached order form to come home with your Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The MCC Elementary PTC is proud to partner with AM Custom Creations to offer this sale of Spartan apparel - just in time for the holidays! Items will arrive before Christmas break, and a portion of all proceeds will go to the PTC to help fund field trips and other enrichment opportunities. Thank you for your support! Please return the form to your buildings office on or before December 2nd, 2022.
Reminder Today Friday November 18th MCC Schools is offering a Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic from 3:00 to 5:00PM in the Mason County Central High School Cafeteria. Attached is a flyer with more information as well as registration paperwork that you can print off: located here- https://5il.co/1k7o3 and fill out ahead of time if you wish to save time the day of the clinic. If you can not print off the paperwork but still wish to fill it out ahead of time you can pick it up at the Central Business Office located at 300 W Broadway Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm.
