Each week we celebrate one student from each classroom that has made correct choices throughout the week at school. These choices include being responsible, respectful and cooperating with others. On Fridays, each teacher chooses one student as their "Star Student" for the week. During lunch time, we will announce each student, why they were chosen and they'll spin the prize wheel. After lunch, each child will choose an adult to call and celebrate with. We plan on posting a photo of our Star Students on the "Live Feed" each week. Each month I'll be posting my Principal's Message under the "News" link on the Scottville Elementary Building page in the App. If you have any problems accessing it please call our office or stop in and I can help you.
Kindergarten Parents: Parent pick up for kindergarten students begins at 2:55 each day. Children not picked up in their classrooms will be taken down to the front foyer for pick up when the teacher takes the rest of the children out to the buses each day.
Welcome Back!!! It was great to see so many of our families back in the building this morning. We've had several calls about this week's schedule. Scottville Elementary releases today at 11:20. Kindergarten children are here today with their parent(s) or guardian(s) for orientation. Kindergarten students will have half days of school the rest of the week (11:15 dismissal) with morning transportation only. The first full day of school for Kindergarten children will be next Monday, September 9th. First and Second grade students will have full days of school the rest of the week.
Kindergarten Parents: Orientation for Kindergarten students will be held on the first day of school during the scheduled session you received in the mail or at the time you enrolled your child. If you did not receive an orientation time for you and your child to attend, please contact the Scottville Elementary office.
