All participating students receive a free Ice Cream cone from House of Flavors Restaurants or custard from Culver's Ludington, MI 🍦🍨
The class from each school that brings in the most candy by weight will receive a pizza party from Hungry Howie's Pizza 🍕🍕🍕
Good Morning Spartan Country, our Halloween Parade for the Upper Elementary and our Lower Elementary WILL take place as scheduled today!! It looks like we are going to get a break in the rain for our Halloween Parade today. This is GREAT NEWS!!!! Attached is the parade route that we will be taking so please find a spot along the route to watch our little Spartans show off their Halloween Costumes!!!

Today at Scottville Elementary we got to learn about Fire Safety! Thank you firefighter Heather and her team of firefighters for coming in and teaching our students what to do and how to be safe in the event of a fire.

Yesterday was Farmer day for spirit week and in true Mason County Central fashion we had our tractor parade. The students and staff alike always enjoy this tradition!! Today we will celebrate with Blue and Gold day!!! Today is the Homecoming football game starting with the Homecoming parade at 5:00pm going down Main Street and down Beryl leading to the football field followed by the big game. Kickoff is at 7:00pm. Come on out and cheer our Spartans on to victory!! GO SPARTANS!!!

One week ago Friday, September 20th; our PTC held their 17th annual Fall Color Fun Run! We would like to send out a GIANT thanks to the students for getting pledges, our parents, all the volunteers, our PTC for putting together an amazing event and all of the sponsors of our Color Run! The suspect in question regarding a threat made toward G2S has been located and placed in custody by Law Enforcement. At this time the Soft Lockdown has been lifted for all MCC Schools..

Dear MCC School Community,
All MCC Schools are going into a Soft Lockdown due to a threat made toward G2S by one of their students this morning. To be clear... no threat has been made toward any MCC School or Student. But because the individual has not been located, area schools are raising awareness and securing our students inside our buildings. It is business as usual inside but there will not be any recess or outdoor activities until we hear further from Law Enforcement.
We will keep you updated as we learn more.
