MCC Family,
Because of the current water main construction on the streets of Scottville, we have to adjust our traditional parade route. The map in this post shows the parade route for Thursday's tractor parade and also for the Homecoming parade on Friday. Friday's Homecoming parade will begin at 5:00 pm. All parade entries will line up at the high school parking lot and start going through the gate of the service driveway at the high school. All spectators can park on the streets marked in red on this map.

Please share this post to get the word out to the community that our parades still go on despite this small adjustment.

Go, Spartans!

How would the bond proposal affect your taxes? If approved, the debt millage rate would remain the same at 2.15 mills.

Zero

On November 4, 2025, Mason County Central voters will consider a bond proposal that would help the district generate $22,375,000 with no expected tax rate increase for necessary improvements across the District to enhance safety and security, improve learning environments, and address aged buildings.

Dear MCC School Community, Parents and Students... We have been in continuous communication with the Scottville Department of Public Works and the Michigan Department of Transportation regarding the Scottville Water Main Project that you have been navigating around every day. The picture map shows the new detours that will begin this Friday, October 3rd and is expected to be needed for at least a couple of weeks. Due to the expected increase in car traffic on Broadway Ave and the corner of Reinberg, we will have a Crossing Guard assigned to that corner during the before and after-school times to assure a safe route for our student pedestrians. We thank you for your cautious driving and continued patience as Scottville makes the much needed improvements to the Water Main system. Stay Strong Spartans!!
