The MCC School Board is working on creating a superintendent profile with feedback from all areas of the district as they embark on replacing our Superintendent who has announced his retirement for June 30th. Here is a chance to share your thoughts on what this district needs in their next superintendent.

The Mason County Central School Board has scheduled a Special School Board Meeting for Thursday, February 26th at 7:00 AM for the purpose of meeting with the representative from Michigan Leadership Institute to discuss Superintendent Search Timelines, School Community Surveys, and Establish Focus Groups. The meeting will take place in the High School Community Room with entry in the door located just south of the Central Business Office doors.

The Mason County Central School Board has scheduled a Special School Board Meeting for Monday, February 16th at 8:30 AM for the purpose of selecting a Superintendent Search Firm. The meeting will take place in the High School Community Room with entry in the door located just south of the Central Business Office doors.

Friday 2/13 home game vs Ravenna was changed to an AWAY GAME.
The 2/17 Make-up Ravenna away game from 1/23 was changed to a HOME GAME.

Notice of Personnel Committee Meetings to interview School Superintendent Search Firms. The Board's Personnel Committee will be interviewing Representatives from Michigan Association of School Boards at 7:00 AM Friday, February 13th and Michigan Leadership Institute at 7:00 AM Monday, February 16th. Both Committee Meetings will take place in the High School Community Room located next to the entrance of the Central Business Office, 300 W. Broadway Ave, Scottville, Michigan.


Mark your calendars and get your tickets for the 31st Annual Spring CommUNITY Auction. This year's Auction will again take place at the newly remodeled Graystone Event Center the evening of Saturday, March 7th. Looking forward to seeing you all there for a fun-filled night of over 300 silent and live auction items in addition to games and prizes.

For the safety of coaches, athletes, parents and anyone else we are canceling all sporting events today, Games and Practices for 1/23/26.
Due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted for tomorrow morning with wind chills well below the -20 degree threshold school districts typically use, the Mason County Central School District including Victory Childhood Center will be closed Friday, January 23rd.
