Attention Mason County Central Families, there will be a Back to School Backpack Bonanza coming up on Wednesday August 2nd from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Ludington area Jaycee's Mini golf course. Enjoy free mini golf, face painting, balloon creations, and score a free backpack with back to school supplies. Event limited to the first 300 participants.

The WSESD and the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee sponsored its 8th annual "Make a Difference" Awards at WSCC on Friday night, June 2.
This special event recognizes the outstanding people, agencies, and businesses throughout Lake, Mason, and Oceana County that have significantly and positively impacted the education and success of students with special needs.
We would like to send out a Huge Congratulations to MCC general education teachers Jon Hackney and Ron Tyndall who both teach in our Middle School. They were both recognized for their dedication and hard work and received engraved plaques at the event!

MCC SCHOOL ELECTION POLLING PLACES:
Mason County Central’s bond election is Tuesday, May 2. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters are being asked to approve a 1.6 mills bond increase that will generate $31.54 million for school safety and security, along with building and infrastructure upgrades. The following is the list of polling places. Voters must vote in the voting precinct where they are registered to vote.

Our MCC driver's education partnership/program is currently shut down. We are working on notifications and refunds for the May and July classes. Hopefully, we will be back up and running Fall 2023!

Just a reminder that TONIGHT Wednesday, April 12th is the GSRP ~ Great Start Readiness Program Preschool Registration Night For The 2023/2024 School Year at 6:00p.m. @ Victory Early Childhood Center. These nights are not for registration for private tuition programs Please remember that all preschool children MUST be 4 years of age on or before September 1st, 2023. Preschool parents will also need to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a copy of your 2022 W2’s, or other income verification including completed 2022 income taxes.
