Good Afternoon, We have several important updates to share with you today. First you can expect to receive a letter at the beginning of next week with your child’s teacher assignment and grade level supply list. We will have a “ Spartan Connected Curbside Pickup” for parents to pick up everything they will need to get started this fall on Thursday September 3, from 8:00 to 3:00 at Upper Elementary. Spartan Connected families should expect to receive a phone call from their child’s teacher this week to gather some needed information. Back to School Night will be virtual this year and be posted on the MCC App and website on Monday August 31. Have a great day!

The Mason County Central School District will be sending out a Return-To-School Survey to our parents and students on Monday, August 3rd. We will be using this information to finalize our planning for the start of the school year that is to begin on September 8th. In the survey, we will ask your intentions for choosing a traditional face-to-face model or our newly developed Spartan Connected virtual/on-line option for the first trimester. MCC will be offering a Preschool and Kindergarten registration opportunity today from 9-11 and again from 5-7 in front of the main entrance of the High School.

Planning for those challenged with learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, hearing disabilities, visual impairments, speech challenges, otherwise health impairments, mental impairments, ADD, ADHD, etc, and all 504 plan children continue to be a major focus. The letter will be forwarded to our state leaders calling upon them to get our students back to school this fall. The Mason County Central School District is preparing for face to face instruction with an online back up plan for those that need it, or circumstances demand it. Have a Great Summer!!!
